By hand, in quantities small enough that we notice when one is wrong. Harder, and chosen anyway.

The founder
“I kept looking for something I could hand to a person I care about that said you mean everything to me, and I could not find it anywhere.”
For years, cookies have been the same. The same packaging, the same taste, nobody bothering to make them feel like anything at all.
And it was never only about giving. Some weeks you are the one who got through it. You closed the thing, you carried the load, you showed up again anyway. MONO is for that too, for people who go hard at life and still want to indulge in the moment.
That is why MONO exists.
We do not only sell cookies. We build the whole moment around them, whoever ends up opening the box. The kraft drawer that slides out. The ivory band. The gold foiling. The O seal you break to get inside. All of it is part of reaching the cookie.
Then we sourced premium ingredients and spent months with our chef refining the taste, until it held to a standard I would put my own name against. Because what is life if you are not setting yourself a higher bar.
We bake in small batches. It is harder. It is the only way I wanted to do it.

Why one box
We are starting with one box.
Six flavours, one collection, and nothing else until we have earned it. When enough of you have told us which one you would buy a whole box of, that is the one we make next. Until then, Velours is the whole of MONO.
